History
Established in June 2009, a virtual private forum was conducted with 12 junior to senior technical professionals in nations around the globe from companies like Microsoft,Dell, IBM, Oracle, Google, Expedia , NetApp, Cisco, Juniper Networks, International Game Technology, Kronos and a MIT recent grad (all by invitation only).
We discussed the conceptions of technical professionals about the technical hiring process and discovered real answers were hard to find in one location, with one focus on the full life cycle technical recruiting experience.
To advance their career internally or externally we discovered this to be the missing career advancement management piece and thus CGTPA was created.
